Since 2013 SIA Rinosta Shipping Agency has been working as a customs broker. The range of customs’ associated services we provide include: - arranging import export or transit customs declarations

-          Payment of customs duties and VAT, when importing the goods into the EU

-          Releasing the goods into free circulation in Latvia, with further cargo transit to other EU member states

-          Printing TIR Carnet, CMR, SMGS waybills, pro-forma invoices (for rail deliveries) and cargo specifications

-          Arranging Certificates of Origin, Phytosanitary or Veterinary certificates

-          Obtaining transit allowances for dual-purpose (strategic) cargos

In January 2015 SIA Rinosta Shipping Agency has gained AEO Certification (Authorized Economic Operator), as an affirmation by the customs authorities of our competence and reliability, which entirely compliant to the strict requirements of the WTO.

And as a latest development, for the companies that are not registered as taxpayers in the Republic of Latvia, we offer the service of Fiscal Representation. This allows our customers to carry out the customs clearance and sales proceeds as if they are a local company, possessing a valid local VAT ID. In such case Rinosta Shipping Agency would be authorized to represent the Customer only for the purpose of paying the import duty, VAT and filling IntraStat (i.e. the statistical report on cargo movements, but the title of goods would always remain with the Customer.
